Summer has arrived! Here are some ways to get moving with your family around PE this festive season.

1. Hobie Beach & St George’s Park parkruns
Join the free and friendly Hobie Beach parkrun or St George’s Park parkrun every Saturday morning for a 5 km walk, jog, or run suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

2. Sacramento Trail (Sardinia Bay)
This scenic 7–8 km circular hike through Sardinia Bay offers stunning coastal views, the history of a Portuguese shipwreck, and rare stromatolite formations.

3. Donkin Heritage Trail (5 km self-guided walk)
Discover 47 historic landmarks in central PE as you walk the Donkin Heritage Trail.

4. Island Nature Reserve – Bushbuck Trail
Just 25 km outside PE, this reserve offers several walking optionsβ€”from a short 900 m trail to a 16 km loop. Watch for birdlife, monkeys, or even bushbuck.
