This is a space that cultivates a sense of calm. Completely letting go of the day that has been had and that which still lies ahead. A moment in time to just be, to breathe, to move gently into and out of postures, to sweat, to stretch tired stiff muscles and to laugh - a lot!!! Yoga takes away the hard edges that life sometimes presents to us. The time spent on the mat is personal, be that to follow the class, perhaps take a posture a little deeper or take some time out and rest a bit. Essentially striving to stay in the present moment through connecting to our bodies, surrendering the mind and finding contentment with who we are.
