11 months of committing to myself and my health.
I honestly can’t believe how far I’ve come. Or rather, how bad things truly were before I started... and that after already dropping a few kilos.
My very first InBody assessment shook me to my core. A visceral fat level of 19.... 19!
I knew I was overweight, but I never realised it was that serious.
Fast-forward to my last inbody assessment: I’m 15kg down, I’ve dropped over 12% body fat and my visceral fat has gone from 19 to 9. That’s something I never imagined possible when I stepped on that machine at the beginning of the year with tears in my eyes.
Taking the first step, putting yourself and your health first is not easy. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable, but that is exactly the moment you need to show up. When you realise you can’t keep living the way you are… start.
Start immediately.
Start messy.
Start scared.
Just start.
Because Rome wasn’t built in a day and your health journey won’t be either. Progress takes time, courage, and consistency. But we can do hard things! And the moment you start seeing results, the moment you start feeling healthier, fitter and stronger, something shifts. There’s no going back.
And honestly, the mornings with Hels Angel’s were exactly what I needed. Getting my workouts done before sunrise became my quiet promise to myself, the thing that grounded me and set the tone for the day. Those early mornings reminded me why I started and why I’m not stopping.
You realise the version of you you’re becoming is worth every early morning, every workout and every moment of doubt.
If you’re standing where I stood 11 months ago… take the step. Your future self will thank you a million times over.
My health and fitness journey is far from over... it’s only just beginning and I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store!
