⚠️ URGENT PRODUCT RECALL: Slimsy Pomegranate Squash

The The National Consumer Commission Commission (NCC) has issued a safety recall for specific batches of 6% Slimsy Pomegranate Squash Concentrate (1L), produced by Dynamic Brands Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd.

Key Details:

• Product: 6% Slimsy Pomegranate Squash Concentrate (1L)
• Best Before Date: 14 October 2026
• Sales Period: 22 January 2026 – 23 March 2026
• Regions: Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State, and KwaZulu-Natal.

🚩 Why is this being recalled?

A defect has been identified involving blown or swollen bottles. Due to gas formation, these bottles may rupture, posing a risk of physical injury. Additionally, ingestion of the affected product may lead to foodborne illness.

🛑 Action Required:

• Consumers: Do NOT consume this product. Return it to your point of purchase immediately for a full refund.
• Retailers: Must remove all affected stock from shelves immediately to ensure consumer safety.
The NCC is closely monitoring this recall to ensure compliance with the Consumer Protection Act.

🚨 URGENT RECALL NOTICE: Citro-Soda Regular 🚨
If you use Citro-Soda Regular, please check your bottles and sachets immediately.

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) has ordered a recall of products manufactured at the Clayville plant in Johannesburg due to serious safety concerns.

⚠️ Why is this happening?

Following a whistleblower report and inspection, it was discovered that machinery issues at the plant led to a high risk of contamination.

Specifically:

Metal fragments and black residue have been found in some units.
This poses a significant health risk to consumers.

📦 Affected Products:
The recall applies to Citro-Soda Regular in the following sizes:

- 60g and 120g bottles
- 4g x 30 sachet packs
Note: Products manufactured at the India facility are NOT affected and are safe to use.

🛑 What you should do:

1. Stop using the product immediately if it was produced at the Clayville facility.

2. Return the product to your original supplier (pharmacy/retailer) or a local health facility for safe disposal.

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has issued a recall for a specific batch of Made for Tots Corn Puffs Chicken (12g) sold at Clicks Group .

Clicks Group has proactively informed the NCC that the affected batch tested positive for non-pathogenic Listeria contamination.
