Are you a new parent navigating the joys and challenges of raising a child? Join us for A Parent is Born, a 6-week emotional support group designed for parents with babies aged 6 weeks to 1 year.

🗓 When: Every Friday, 10.00 - 12.00, starting 7th February 2025

With the school holidays fast approaching it is time for some admin related information:
- the outpatient services will close on Friday 14th June at 12h00 until Monday 1st July. If you need a script or advice in this time, please consult your GP. If you have an emergency, please report to your closest casualty unit for assistance, they will be able to contact me or the doctor on call.
I hope everyone has a lovely winter break and uses the time to reconnect with friends and family.

Just a small update on housekeeping type information. Practice hours have shifted slightly this year. I will be in office from 8am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to noon on Fridays. This includes hospital visits on certain days. Please keep this in mind when sending any communication or making appointments. Most school holidays I will be prioritizing my family, so any scripts required must be requested before then. Have a lovely week further

As I reflect on life on this beautiful autumn day, I realise how long it has been since I used this platform. A friend once had a long discussion with me about priorities and how we all juggle mutliple. Some of those are glass and others plastic or even rubber. 2024 has certainly been the year where I have learnt to let the rubber priorities bounce away for a while. Now that my precious glass priorities are more stable, I can focus on the social media component of my business again. Take extra care of your fragile priorities and have a lovely week further.

With the festive season upon us, we just want to update everyone with business hours.
The outpatient practice will close on Thursday 14th December. If you need a script or have a question, please make sure to request this ASAP. Dr Schultz will cover admissions and emergencies until the 22nd December. From this point all emergencies will be covered by the on call Psychiatrists until early January. The practice will reopen on 15th January 2024. All the best for the last few days leading up to the holiday season.

It is with sadness that we had to wish Chantelle farewell this month and she moves into a new workspace. We are however very excited to include Zuki into reception staff. As she finds her feet, the practice is closed for the school holiday but will be up and running next week again.

Please note - due to an overwhelming response, applications are now CLOSED. If you have not been contacted for an interview by Monday, please consider your application unsuccessful.
(Our office is looking for a new receptionist to start October. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for my reception work as well as working in conjunction with existing staff to run the chiropractic health centre. Experience in medical billing and software would be advantageous. )
