Thought I'd share as I know many people are looking for solutions to a second income, remote working, or flexibility around kids. 🫶🏻

There are some exciting possibilities for growth within a 40 year old USA based company, in the health and wellness industry as they are about to open a new market soon.

It's global, there is no cost and no risk.

Let me know if you'd like some details. I would be happy to introduce you to Tam, who has been doing this for 5 years and she can fill you in a bit more and see if it's for you or not. 🫶🏻

Perfectionism will stunt your progress at every step of your journey…

And ACTION will propel you forward.⁣

But perfectionism is sneaky, and it creeps up on you.

Be careful if you find yourself…⁣

👉 Holding yourself back from posting that picture because what if people criticise you,
👉 Refraining from starting your health-focused weight loss journey because you haven’t created the “perfect” healthy meal plan for the week yet,
👉 Stopping yourself from hiring that nutrition coach because you either feel like you’re not at the stage you want to be yet or you want to lose some weight first before investing⁣,
👉 Spending HOURS on meal prepping something that cost you an arm and a leg because that’s what it takes to be perfect⁣ in your mind,
👉 Overanalyzing what you did wrong that made you not lose the perfect amount of weight that was your goal for the week,
👉 Not accepting an invitation for a date/ event because you want to look perfect at your goal weight first,
👉 Judging yourself because you don’t think you’re “good enough” just as you are (because your idea of beauty has a weight restriction).

The truth is perfectionism is a protection mechanism. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It delays you from taking REAL action in your journey.

It has hurt me. And I’ve seen it hurt clients whom are just beginning their journey to those whom have made a significant amount of progress already.

Remember that progress and the act of just getting stuff done and making it good enough will take your journey to the next level.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Not making things perfect. ⁣⁣

Perfectionism can influence your decisions and create stagnation whether you’re just beginning or nearing your goal.

It’s going to take courage again and again to make that move without feeling ready… without feeling like things are perfectly in place. ⁣

But that’s GROWTH. ⁣

And if you want to be at that next stage in your journey, it’s going to require courage every single day. ⁣

Perfectionism leads to procrastination. ⁣

Courage to feel messy and do it anyway leads to unending growth. ⁣

Salt flavoured foods tend to have more sodium than the other flavours. Obviously, right?

Salt sensitivity is determined by your DNA.

Are you salt sensitive?

If you are salt sensitive you may have an increased risk of experiencing blood pressure spikes.

If you already have high blood pressure, then your risk is further increased for heart disease and strokes.

How about reading food labels for hidden sources of sodium?

Do you feel jittery or struggle to fall asleep after drinking a cup of coffee?

Did you know that caffeine sensitivity is largely determined by your DNA.

If you are caffeine sensitive you may have an increased risk for heart disease and blood pressure spikes.

You may have increased anxious feelings or have a lower bone mineral density.

☕️Limiting your caffeine intake to 2 cups of coffee per day can help.

☕️Or opt for a decaf version if it’s later in the day.

☕️Preferably postpone your first cup of coffee until after you’ve eaten breakfast.

Your gut will thank you later as coffee on an empty stomach can irritate the gut lining.

Do you consider yourself caffeine sensitive? Comment below.
