First Ave Funeral Home opened its doors in 1992 and is located on the corner of 1st Ave Walmer, in Port Elizabeth. The business was started in response to the need for a Funeral Home in the City, which could offer exceptional service and commitment to its work. From humble beginnings, the business has grown into a well respected service provider, capable of meeting the needs of any funeral, across

the Eastern Cape as well as additional services provided abroad. The Historical building, which is over 100 years old, has been completely restored, preserving its old-world charm and original materials. Nowhere is this more evident, than in the beautiful Chapel with its oregon pine floors, stained glass windows and high ceilings throughout. For your comfort and convenience, the building and chapel also come complete with air-conditioning throughout. Through true commitment and passion, First Avenue Funeral Home has become a business capable of managing all your funeral arrangements in a professional and sensitive manner in its pursuit of meeting your expectations.
