Armed Response reacted to a complaint from a client regarding a male causing a disturbance in the street.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that there is an existing case against the suspect at SAPS.

Upon noticing SAPS approaching, the suspect attempted to flee. However, the Armed Response officer acted swiftly and successfully apprehended the individual.

Mount Road SAPS subsequently took the suspect into custody.

🚨INCIDENT REPORT🚨

An incident report was received via a social media group on 4 April 2026 at 16:53 regarding two males and one female seen walking along the N2 carrying an air conditioning unit.

Cotswold NHW, together with a rapid response from Extreme Security, immediately conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area. Despite swift action, the individuals matching the initial description could not be located.

During the patrol, one of the patrollers inspected the nearby bush area, where a well-known individual was found. This person is known in connection with a case opened in March relating to a stolen laptop.

SAPS was contacted, and the individual was detained for further investigation.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mount Road SAPS, Kabega Park SAPS, and Extreme Security for their swift response, professionalism, and continued commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our community.

🚨 MEDICAL RESPONSE ALERT 🚨

Bester Emergency Medical Service responded to reports of a suspected robbery in progress, arriving on scene alongside our security partner, Extreme Security.

On arrival, our crew found a male patient in the parking area with a head injury and active bleeding. Immediate on-scene medical care was provided, and the patient was stabilised by Bester EMS personnel.

It is believed the incident occurred between two buildings in the area. At this stage, the patient is unable to recall the events and could not provide further information.

🚨 EXTREME SECURITY ALERT – ACCIDENT & ARREST 🚨

📍 Location: C/o Mowbray & First Ave, Newton Park

📅 Date & Time: 6 April 2026 | 17:30

Extreme Security received a social media report, including an image, of a vehicle involved in an accident at the above location. Armed Response members identified the vehicle as the same one allegedly linked to multiple robberies reported the previous day in various areas.

Our team immediately responded to the scene and notified Mount Road SAPS.

Upon arrival, four male suspects were found at the scene and were arrested. The suspects were also found in possession of a cellphone that had been stolen minutes earlier in the Newton Park area.

The victim’s parents arrived on scene and positively identified the cellphone as belonging to their daughter. A case has been opened.

In total, four cases have been opened against the suspects in connection with incidents reported since the previous day.

All suspects have been taken into custody, and the vehicle used in the crimes has been impounded.

Armed Response received a call regarding a snake spotted in a resident’s yard.

Our team responded immediately and contacted Daniel, a local snake catcher, for assistance.
Upon arrival, the location of the snake was confirmed. Daniel conducted a search in the garden and safely captured the snake.

While inspecting the garden area where the snake was caught, a second snake—a puff adder—was discovered. This snake was also safely caught.
Both snakes (puffaders)were safely relocated and released away from any residential area.

A social media report was received regarding males walking with suspected stolen items in the direction of Devon Road.

Upon arrival, multiple security companies responded and conducted a search of the surrounding area. The suspects fled into nearby bushes, abandoning the items. Despite an extensive search, the suspects could not be located.

Recovered items include:

3 × Televisions

3 × Bags containing clothing, meat, and shoes

Live ammunition

At this stage, it is unknown where the items were stolen from.

Kabega Park SAPS attended the scene. All recovered items have been booked in at Kabega Park SAPS.

Armed Response responded to a social media report of three suspicious males seen walking with a TV in the Bridgemeade area.

Officers quickly reacted and located the individuals.
Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the suspects had broken into a granny flat, stealing a TV and various small household items. All three suspects were apprehended on scene.

The suspects were handed over to Kabega Park SAPS, where the resident opened a case.

🚨 EXTREME SECURITY ALERT – BREAK-IN & ARREST 🚨

A report was received via social media regarding a break-in to a motor vehicle, where items were stolen while residents were attending church.

Armed response officers immediately began searching the area and within 5 minutes the suspects were spotted walking with the stolen items. Backup units were called, and upon arrival the suspects were boxed in and successfully arrested.

During further investigation, the vehicle used to transport the suspects was located, and a vehicle break-in implement was found in the suspects' possession.

All stolen items were positively identified by the resident. The suspects were arrested and the vehicle used was impounded by SAPS.

🚓 Kabega Park SAPS attended the scene and a case has been opened.

Today, our First Aid Level 3 trained Armed Response Officers assisted in three emergencies: a 14-year-old girl who fell ill, a 78-year-old woman struggling to breathe, and an 80-year-old woman who injured her hip. In each case, we provided care until EMS arrived.

A swift response by our Armed Response team resulted in a positive arrest.
Armed Response received a call for assistance from a client after a suspect was spotted inside their yard. Our team responded immediately, located the suspect on the property and placed him under arrest for trespassing.

Well done to our client for being vigilant.
