Meet Dr Tom Groom at Famfirst Medical Centre 👨‍⚕️✨

Born and raised in Cape Town 🌊 Dr Groom graduated cm laude from Stellenbosch University 🎓 and went on to spend three years serving the community in Port Elizabeth’s public hospitals and clinics 🏥 gaining invaluable hands on experience.

He is married to Emma Groom, a Paediatric Occupational Therapist 💙, and is a proud Port Elizabethian who loves the outdoors 🌿 photography 📸 music 🎶 and cycling 🚴‍♂️

Dr Groom is deeply passionate about family medicine ❤️ and believes in walking a meaningful journey with patients and their families through every stage of health and illness 🤝 His care is rooted in compassion, connection, and long term wellbeing for the whole family 🌟 Dr Alison Dawson
