Congratulations to Prof Ruan Kruger from NWU’s Hypertension in Africa Research Team (HART) on his appointment as acting executive director of SA Heart®!

In this key leadership role, Prof Kruger will strengthen governance and strategic direction within one of South Africa’s foremost cardiovascular organisations. Earlier this month, our Physiology and Occupational Hygiene Master’s students took part in a practical workshop on the art of pipetting and centrifugation, hosted by Eppendorf and Merck Life Science. 🧪

A huge thank you to Mfanafuthi Kubheka and Adele Heath for leading such an enjoyable and informative training session. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Anri Vorster for organizing this valuable learning experience for our students.
