Weskoppies Hospital had the honour of welcoming the DENOSA Regional Chair, Mr. Baloyi, and the Provincial Chair, Mr. Banda, during their support visit on 12 February 2026. The leadership conducted a walkabout across key service areas, engaging with staff, listening to challenges, and acknowledging the continued dedication of our nursing professionals. Their presence reinforced the importance of collaboration, morale‑building, and strengthening the quality of care provided to our MHCU (Mental Health Care Users).

We appreciate the ongoing support and partnership from DENOSA as we continue working together to enhance service delivery and staff well‑being at Weskoppies Hospital.

🌟 Celebrating Ms Mtetwa and Her Inspiring Contribution 🌟

Today we proudly acknowledge Ms Mtetwa, who introduced the impactful book “Mental Health within the Christian Community” — a collaborative work written by professionals from various fields, all united in strengthening conversations around mental wellness. 🙌

📘 This important publication is now available on Takealot, making it accessible to individuals, families, churches, and community leaders seeking guidance and support.

During her presentation, Ms Mtetwa graciously handed over a copy of the book to our CEO as a token of appreciation for his ongoing support and encouragement in promoting mental health initiatives within our institution. 💙

We celebrate this meaningful achievement and thank Ms Mtetwa for her dedication to empowering communities through knowledge and compassion.

🌟 Spreading Hope & Knowledge! 🌟

Our team had the privilege of visiting Dimphonyana Tsa Lapeng in Olievenhoutbosch — a safe haven for children and a beacon of care in the community. 💛

We hosted a skills development workshop for their dedicated ECD practitioners, focusing on early childhood mental health disorders — empowering them with tools to better support young minds. 🧠✨
