Something that has become quite common these days is lower back pain🥴
Lower back pain is also known as lumbago.
It can be caused by a number of reasons such as; muscle spasm, ligament sprain, poor posture, lack of exercise, spinal disc issues, etc.
The most common reason why we see lower back pain patients is because of poor prolonged posture and lack of exercise🪑👟.
Poor prolonged posture, like sitting at your desk and slouching for hours on end (which we all tend to do because most of us are working from home at the moment) can lead to lower back stiffness which in turn can lead to a bit of pain.
Also, a lot of people really don’t enjoy exercising which results in people not moving their bodies at all. This can also result in lower back pain... our bodies were made to M•O•V•E💃🕺
Fixing lower back pain doesn’t happen overnight, it takes conscious efforts throughout the day and committing to an exercise program to see results📝
This week we will be looking at back specific exercises and stretches that you can try at home to keep your spine moving🧘
