Dr. Erikson is a young, vibrant doctor with a passion for people. He is seen by friends, family and colleagues as an absolute people’s person.

Dr. Erikson graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2013 and obtained the Diploma in Anaesthesia from the Colleges of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Erikson worked as Anaesthetist in state hospitals for a few years, after which he went into private practice as General Practitioner and Family Doctor. He has extensive experience in the field of Anaesthesia and pain management. The practice of Anaesthesia, which is seen by many as the perioperative physician, has contributed greatly to his vast experience in managing and optimizing many complex medical conditions and emergencies.

During his 4th year of Medicine Dr. Erikson was involved in a nearly fatal motor vehicle accident, which led to him finishing his 4th year in a wheelchair due to the extent of his injuries. In the years to come Dr. Erikson has undergone multiple surgeries and spent many nights in hospital and ICU, due to many severe complications. This experience on the other side of the stethoscope has taught Dr. Erikson, not only a great deal of perseverance and patience, but also empathy, understanding and compassion which he incorporates into his practice as family doctor and friend.
