Life Wilgers Hospital welcomes Dr Raoul Erasmus, an experienced orthopaedic surgeon, to our team of specialists.
Dr Erasmus has a special interest in hip replacement surgery, especially in the anterior approach which allows the patient a faster short-term rehabilitation, a shorter hospital stay, less post-operative pain and a lower risk of hip dislocation. Other interests include robotic and manual knee replacement surgery, sports knee injuries and arthroscopic surgery. Dr Erasmus's passion for people aligns to Life Healthcare's purpose of making life better for the patients entrusted to our care.
