Success Report:
A stolen vehicle was spotted entering the area, prompting a swift response from Echo 1 and SAPS K9. The joint operation was a success, resulting in the recovery of the stolen vehicle.

Key Achievements:
1. *Rapid Response*: Echo 1 quickly identified the vehicle's location and called for backup.
2. *Effective Search*: SAPS K9 responded promptly and, together with Echo 1, successfully located the stolen vehicle within an estate.
3. *Vehicle Recovery*: The vehicle, a Nissan Micra, was seized and taken into custody. Atteridgeville ###/08/2025

Outcome:
The recovered vehicle is currently being held at SAPS 13 for further processing by LCRC. Further investigation is ongoing, and it is believed that the gathered information may lead to an arrest. The Lakes Security Forum commends Echo 1 and SAPS K9 for their dedication and efforts in making the operation a success. The collaboration between the role players demonstrates the effectiveness of joint operations in combatting crime.

SUCCESS REPORT:

On Friday, 15 August 2025, Echo-1 Security was contacted regarding a diesel tanker that was highjacked in Donkerhoek.
The horse was recovered the next day in Nelspruit, but the tanker trailer was still outstanding.

Following up on information received from informants, a possible hiding place in Welbekend was identified.
On Monday, Bidvest Air Wing went to the area to find the missing tanker.

The Bidvest pilot was able to identify the tanker by distinctive markings and activated the ground crew.
Unfortunately, the diesel load has already been offloaded, but the trailer was recovered in good condition.

SUCCESS BULLETIN :
Incident Type: Armed Robbery Syndicate Apprehension
Date & Time: 12 August 2025 – 00h55
Area of Operation: Kaalfontein

Summary:
For several months, an armed robbery syndicate has been targeting the Pretoria area in a series of violent early morning robberies. Several of these incidents involved victims being shot, with some tragically murdered during the attacks. Intelligence-led investigations identified possible movements of the syndicate, leading operational units to focus efforts in the Kaalfontein area.

While saturating the area, operational teams heard gunfire originating from a nearby plot. Immediate tactical response

was initiated. Upon arrival, the on-site security guard confirmed that he had engaged with armed suspects on the premises.

Operational Action:
A coordinated tactical plan was executed, involving:
• TMPD Metro K9 Unit
• Proshield Drone Unit
• Proshield Tactical Unit
• Echo-1Tactical Unit
• Cullinan Reaction Unit (CRU)
• Cullinan SAPS

Drone surveillance was deployed to cover the surrounding terrain, successfully locating 2 armed syndicate members attempting to evade capture. Ground units moved in swiftly and executed the arrest without further incident.

Outcome:

• Two syndicate members apprehended

• One loaded firearm recovered

Suspects to be linked to multiple serious robbery cases committed in the early morning hours across Pretoria, including incidents where victims were shot and murdered.

BREAKTHROUGH ...
A spate of bluelight robberies occurred the last few months in Gauteng, especially on courier vehicles.
When dockets were registered in Echo-1 Land we decided to get involved ....
An operational plan was put together based on solid intel, and on 24 July, while they were returning from another armed robbery, the hammer dropped on them 🔨

After a short chase the suspect vehicle was stopped and 3 detained...
SAPS joined shortly after and recovered an illegal firearm, blue lights and police uniform.
Echo-1 will always stay committed to fighting evil and keeping our communities safe ...

Update ///
on 23 July Echo-1 received info regarding a gang on their way to commit a house robbery. There wasn't much time and units were dispatched.. True to form Echo-1 and Kapanga Security managed to intercept the gang and arrest 4 !
More information came to light, connecting the gang to at least 3 vehicle theft cases in Pretoria East .....

SUCCESS REPORT:
Last night, the Boschkop Detective branch requested assistance regarding a vehicle wanted for theft in Olympus. The vehicle's movements were studied, and a plan was put in place.
This afternoon around 15.00, Echo-1 Security and Bull Tactical traced the vehicle to a nearby fuel station.
The driver and vehicle was successfully handed over to SAPS for further inquiry ...

ECHO-1 SUCCESS ...
Yesterday, 4Warn Security tipped us off about a suspect vehicle linked to multiple theft out of motor vehicle cases on the East Rand. A quick check showed the same vehicle had an open 2024 docket in Cullinan.
We circulated the vehicle, and less than an hour later, it was picked up on the N4.
With solid air support from Gareth in his Bidvest bird, the suspect was guided straight into our path. Echo-1 and Kapanga Security moved in fast and took him down at the toll gates.
Inside: stolen goods — including 3 laptops, a second set of number plates, and more. Complainants from Witbank came through to Boschkop and confirmed the loot as theirs.
Same suspect, same story — previously arrested by Echo-1 for stealing a vehicle from a local school. Multiple cases against him ...

Echo-1 Management received a lookout from our partners at 4Warn Security in Benoni regarding a robbery that took place at their client's property ...details were shared of the suspects and their vehicle ..RIGHT TIME RIGHT PLACE ...the suspects passed an undercover Echo-1 officer 5 minutes later ...reinforcements were called in and the chase ended up in Bronkhorstspruit...Thanks to TMPD 707 and trusty Kapanga Security..2 suspects in custody, stolen cell phone recovered and the vehicle they used confiscated, as false plates were used in the commission of crime ...
