Recently, I took a tumble on my mountain bike that resulted in the need for knee surgery. 🚵‍♂️ It's amazing how our bodies and energy can hold onto the shock of a traumatic event. When the body goes into shock, it trembles – just like in nature when a lion chases an antelope, the antelope shakes profusely, and that is how the body gets rid of trauma. I remembered this in the ER when offered a sedative, I politely declined, allowing my body to release the trauma, your body needs to go through that process to be able to release it.
Of course, I couldn't do the same with pain medication. Sometimes, despite our reluctance to introduce toxins to our bodies, it's necessary. So, I faced a choice: endure excruciating pain making it even more traumatic or take pain medication to find comfort and relief while risking the integrity of my organ health. This is when I heard the voice of Abraham Hicks that said, "do whatever brings you relief in this moment" So I took the pain meds, I definitely took the pain meds.

But here's the kicker – there are techniques to release or minimise trauma. Here's my playbook:

1️⃣ I shook it off, just like that antelope.
2️⃣ I made the decision for surgery from a place of empowerment, not fear. I went home, took a soothing bath, meditated, and got my mind right and made the decision based on what felt right for me.
3️⃣ I trusted the process, as advised by my kinesiologist.
4️⃣ I let go of anger toward myself for the accident.
5️⃣ I surrendered and excepted the situation.
6️⃣ I prepared and stocked up on supplements to aid ligament, tendon, muscle, and tissue recovery. (Grass fed collagen, grass fed whey, Venison stew meat, glutamine)
7️⃣ I prepped for post-surgery recovery with liver support and detox aids.
8️⃣ I applied lavender essential oils near the wound and on my chakra points to release trauma in both the physical and energy bodies.

Next, I plan to detox from medications, but only when the pain subsides. This will involve supplements like activated charcoal, bentonite clay and tissue salts. 🌿💪

Recovery mode: ON! 🚵‍♀️💪

Sun exposure have many health benefits we should be benefitting from,
If you're fair-skinned and scared of sun exposure, try these tips to boost your sun tolerance and achieve that sun-kissed glow:

Ditch the sunglasses: When the sun's light reach your eyes it triggers melanin production which protects us from sunburn.

Skip mainstream sunscreen: Not only are the toxic and scientifically proved carcinogenic, they block essential UV light needed for melanin production and overall health.

Say no to seed oils: Damaged fats hinder your body's ability to build tolerance and protect against sunburn.

Catch the sunrise: It kickstarts your body's circadian rhythm which is crucial for getting optimal sleep and helps in building sun tolerance by signaling melanin production.

Gradually increase sun exposure: Start with short bursts of sun exposure around midday when UV levels are highest.

Watch the sunset: It's rich in red and infrared light, aiding skin healing post-sun exposure.

Consistency is key—adopt these habits for a radiant transformation! ☀️🌿

In our quest to ease anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, we often resort to medication without considering holistic approaches. Medication, however, merely numbs or sedates, especially if the root cause is unaddressed trauma or something lacking in our lives. To truly heal, we must release trauma, understand ourselves, shed outdated thought patterns and belief systems that no longer serve us, and uncover the root cause through muscle testing. Tailoring a personalized solution is key to finding lasting relief.

A few years ago, I faced a profound emotional struggle. In an attempt to cope with the pain, I immersed myself in intense training sessions, hoping to divert my thoughts. However, this strategy resulted in a series of injuries, particularly a persistent shoulder injury near the scapula along the lung meridian, lung emotion = grief. This condition lingered for months.
Realizing the necessity of giving my shoulder proper rest, I shifted my focus to strengthening my lower body. Unexpectedly, my hips started manifesting discomfort, echoing the epicenter of moving forward and the ability to let go of the past. As my shoulder improved with the new focus, I redirected my attention to the upper body again, only to experience a mirrored injury in the other shoulder, precisely at the same location.
My body just couldn’t release this trauma. Unable to rely on exercise as an outlet, I had to confront and sit with the waves of emotion and grief. Fortunately, through the practice of kinesiology, which use countless methods to address these deep-seated issues we are able to release it on a cellular and genetic level, freeing us from the chains of our emotional struggles.

Sometimes, we are not even aware that we are carrying trauma in our bodies. It surfaces through self-sabotage, unhelpful belief systems, and harmful boundaries. We notice it in our repetitive actions—making the same mistakes or attracting similar unhealthy relationships and behaviors from various people in our lives.

Ah, Kinesiology, now that's a fascinating realm worth delving into. It's a question often whispered in the wind, especially here in the SA, where its roots haven't fully taken hold.

Originally, all flavours of Kinesiology sprouted from Applied Kinesiology, a seed sown in the 1960s by the hands of Dr. George Goodheart.

Across the ocean in the USA, Kinesiology finds its place in the toolkit of chiropractors and doctors. Meanwhile, here in the SA, it's embraced by our alternative health practitioners and those who align with chiropractic care.

At its core, Kinesiology aligns with the science of movement'. It wears many cloaks, each with its own name — Functional Kinesiology, Systematic Kinesiology, Applied Kinesiology, and Touch for Health, just to name a few. There's a rich tapestry woven within Kinesiology, but the guiding star in this celestial dance is muscletesting.

The bodys a wondrous vessel of wisdom and intelligence and can communicate its needs through the language of muscle testing. With gentle pressure, a Kinesiologist listens to these whispers, gauging the response of muscles linked to the organs through the nervous system pathways — be it the physical, the nutritional, or the emotional.

The body, speaks to the practitioner, revealing the imbalances within. Once the imbalance is recognized, the Kinesiologist steps in, offering support through an array of techniques — nutritional guidance, healing touch, energy reflexes.

The Kinesiologist's toolbox is like a well-tended garden, abundant and diverse, offering a bouquet of techniques beyond count, far more than many other healing modality.

How many Kinesiology sessions does one need? Ah, that's a tale spun by the individual, their struggles, and their willingness to let change take root in their life. In general, the first whispers of improvement often grace the soul within one to three visits. The journey unfolds, and the earthy rhythms of Kinesiology guide the way.
