WHAT HAPPENS DURING A PRE-TEST?
✨️ Ever wondered what those first few machines do before you see the optometrist? Your
pre-test is a quick, comfortable step that gives us a detailed snapshot of your eye health —
before your full consultation even begins.

Here’s what we check:
🔎 Your vision measurements
You’ll look into a small machine (yes, usually at a hot air balloon 🎈) while we estimate your
prescription.
🔵 The shape of your cornea
This helps detect astigmatism and is essential for accurate contact lens fittings.
💨 Your eye pressure A gentle test that screens for early signs of glaucoma.
📸 Digital eye scans (when needed)
Advanced imaging allows us to examine the health of your retina in detail.

The entire process is quick, non-invasive and takes about 10–15 minutes — but it gives us
valuable insight to ensure your eyes receive the very best care.
