Rustenburg Hospital Leads the Way in Life-Saving Training for All Unit Managers
Rescue CPR & First Aid Training Centre PTY (Ltd) is proud to announce a groundbreaking milestone in healthcare training, having equipped nearly every Unit Manager at Medicare Rustenburg as certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructors.
With the final manager scheduled for training in the coming weeks, the hospital becomes the first of its kind to ensure that all Unit Managers are qualified to teach and lead emergency response skills within their own departments.
This pioneering initiative means each department now has an in-house instructor responsible for empowering staff with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to respond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies. The result is faster action, improved teamwork, and ultimately, lives saved.
The programme was championed by Matron 'Gcobisa Mpande' , whose leadership and vision drove this meaningful investment in staff development and patient safety.
