We are a unique non-profit organization that creates employment options and opportunities for persons with a variety of disabilities, including physical disabilities, mental challenges and hearing impairment, across all borders of our society. Employment Solutions therefore strives to:

Build the capacity of more than 20 protective workshops in Gauteng North
Be involved in job creation and job placements of persons with disabilities
Manage a protective workshop that caters for the capacity building and training of persons with disabilities
Enhance the mobility of persons with disabilities by providing wheelchair repair services
Facilitate a stimulation programme for persons with severe disabilities

The Jacaranda Protective Workshop Forum, managed by Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities, provides monthly craft training. These train-the-trainer engagements cater for managers, supervisors and/or beneficiaries of other protective workshops. Attendees learn hands-on how to make craft items and how to train beneficiaries in their organisations to do the same. In August, attendees decorated candles.

The Jacaranda Protective Workshop Forum, managed by Employment Solutions for People with Disabilities, provides monthly craft training. These train-the-trainer engagements cater for managers, supervisors and/or beneficiaries of other protective workshops. Attendees learn hands-on how to make craft items and how to train beneficiaries in their organisations to do the same. In July, attendees created glass lanterns.

Employment Solutions has been in existence for 21 years creating work opportunities for persons with disabilities through the support of loyal companies that outsource activities to us. We have expertise and experience in manual assembly and packing as well as archive document scanning and GIS map data capturing.

Our partnerships with the Departments of Social Development as well as Employment and Labour are augmented by those with AfriGIS, NCP Chlorchem, Bosal Afrika, Marcom/ Astrapak, Heunis Steel, Alco - Safe, Secundes Accountants and the Vodacom Warehouse.

The Jacaranda Forum is an initiative of Employment Solutions to support and facilitate various developmental opportunities, including craft product training sessions.
