PARENT GUIDANCE SESSIONS
These sessions include parent guidance and psycho-education specific to each child, and are available to support parents with areas they are struggling to manage or concerns they may have about their child. These sessions can be once off, or ad hoc sessions or can be integrated during the child psychotherapeutic process to equip parents with the understanding, knowledge and skills to support and manage their children better at home, and improve the quality of the parent-child relationship, enhancing connection.
*Discounted small group bookings can be made regarding workshops/talks/psycho-education for various aspects involved in parenting*

REMEDIAL SESSIONS
These weekly sessions are usually 60min sessions for children aged 6-12 years and are focused on suporting children with reading, spelling and language difficulties. A variety of well-researched methods and techniques are utilised to address reading and spelling difficulties, with the aim of improving these areas of learning, and facilitating the development of aspects such as coding and decoding skills, reading speed and fluency, reading
accuracy, reading comprehension, spelling and language skills. The sessions incorporate fun, and an experience of success as well assisting the development of learning motivation. Please note that these are not tutoring sessions, and do not cover content-specific work in school subjects.

CHILD PSYCHOTHERAPY SESSIONS
These weekly 60min sessions for children aged 6-12 years are focused on a variety of emotional concerns, for example self-esteem, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, trauma etc. A variety of techniques and aproaches tailored to the specific child are used, including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), play techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Brain-Based Therapy (BBT). Parent guidance and psycho-education sessions and are integrated during the therapeutic process to equip parents with the understanding, knowledge and skills to support and manage their children at home.
