The 10 living units are offered on an extremely advantageous life rights basis. Adagio provides a full spectrum of support; catering and administrative services and all areas of the Home will be fully accessible by wheel and mobility chairs. Adagio is privately run by a gay couple that has been together for more than 20 years. In short, Adagio offers seniors a complete package for quality of life with outstanding care and service and a lifestyle conducive to aging in place. Our commitment is to include each resident in our extended family while focusing on the whole person at all phases during the retirement years. Our goal is to provide the resident with the highest quality of life possible. We will emphasise the dignity and individuality of each resident, addressing total wellness, including physical, social, and spiritual needs. All this handed down from one generation to the next. This is an environment which residents can call "home." Services provided:
1. 24 hour nursing aid supervision in all our units.
2. The nursing aids assist in all our residents needs.
3. The full servicing of rooms takes place every day, which also includes laundry.
4. There are panic buttons in all the units.
5. We provide three meals per day , teas and coffee’s are provided at tea time (Twice a day. Transport to our local shopping centre is available on Thursday’s.
7. A chemist delivery service from our local chemist is available.
8. Mobile hairdresser on first Tuesday’s of each month.
9. Activities are arranged every 4 month’s for residents.
10. Psychologist available on request.
