✨ One year ago, a childhood dream of mine became a reality ✨

When I was little, I dreamed of creating songs that could hold people through hard moments. A year ago, that dream quietly became real. 🥰

This song was written in Afrikaans as a reminder to hold on — even when life feels heavy.
Over the past year, it’s also become my own anthem through big changes, loss, and new beginnings.

My 🇿🇦 immune system is not used to 🇳🇱 bugs.

Being in bed for more than a week can really test your patience. I had to go withIN and really feel and heal. There’s no running away or hiding when you have Covid (that feels worse than the first strain). 😂

When your body is sick, it is trying to communicate with you. I listened to 3 of my Reiki Relaxations (from my 7 Week HEAL Journey) that finished yesterday and wow the insights were profound. 🤩

These were the messages I received from this illness:
💙 Release control
💚 Release the past. I am free to move forward with love in my heart
🧡 Trust the process of life. All I need is always taken care of.
❤️ Life supports and loves me

On a physical level I supported myself with our Magic Hot Toddy (that I’ve used since I was a child - thank you mom) with ginger, turmeric & cinnamon. ☕️

I also support my immune system with echinacea, our Heart Brain Body Support (good quantity and quality of vitamins and minerals in the right ratios), water, sleep, meditation, proper nutrition and rest. 🥰
