Our MISSION !
A couple of decades ago a man by the name of Guillemet survived a plane crash in the French Alps. Although injured he had to struggle downhill for help. Sixteen hours later he was found at the bottom of the hill. Afterwards people asked him how he managed to walk and even crawl so far whilst injured. His simple reply was that he wanted to see his wife again and that it is astonishing how far you could get if you merely take one step after another and keep going. The biggest challenge is just to take the first step.
Die Mossie Sentrum vir Gestremde Kinders is giving its first step towards creating a safe haven for disabled children in the Midrand and Centurion areas. A place where both their physical and mental abilities can be developed further.
V Raymond Edman was the Head of Wheaton College, Illinois in the United States, during the 50s and 60s. His motto was: “It is always too soon to quit!”
This motto inspired and motivated us when we were tempted to give up during the extensive period of research of finding suitable premises as well as all the legal compliances, efficient program- and nutritional eating plan development. The millionaire, Eddie Rickenbacker, wrote in his autobiography: “Success? God has everything to do with it!”
