A busy and fun week ahead for our Preschool Little Champions!

Our theme this week is “My House – Safety in and outside the house.” We will be learning about how to stay safe at home and when playing outside.

This week will also include some exciting events !!

• School Photo Day – capturing those beautiful smiles
• Lucky Draw – Lots of Prizes to be Won, including a Big Prize!
• Little Champions Derby Athletics Day – a fun day of running, cheering, and teamwork

It’s going to be a week full of learning, laughter, excitement, and special moments with our little champions.

What a day!

The rain poured outside, but inside our school the fun continued with music, dancing, stories, games, and lots of laughter. It was a day full of learning and playful activities, with learners enjoying creative tasks and practicing their fine motor skills.

Our Grade R learners worked on the letter M, exploring sounds and activities linked to the letter in a fun and engaging way.

As part of our Fun Week, learners also dressed up as their favourite superheroes, bringing colour, imagination, and big smiles to every classroom. 🦸‍♀️✨

Rainy days are always brighter when our school is filled with happy learners and fun adventures!

Fun week at Ladybird! 🐞

Today our little ones showed off their Crazy Hair & Funky Hats, and the creativity was amazing! 🤪✨

We love seeing their energy and big smiles as they prepare for the big day. 🏅

Ons klein handjies het papiertjies geplak, geknip, vrugte-speel-speel gesny en stokkies uit klei getrek. Elke aktiwiteit help om ons vingertjies sterker te maak en belangrike vaardighede te ontwikkel. ✂️🖐️

Today was a wonderful day filled with fine motor fun!

Our little hands were busy sticking small pieces of paper, cutting, pretend-cutting fruit, and pulling toothpicks out of clay. Each activity helps strengthen little fingers and develop important skills. ✂️🖐️

Why puzzles are great for kids!

Puzzles are more than just fun, they help little minds grow!
When children work on puzzles, they build problem-solving skills, improve memory, boost patience, and strengthen hand-eye coordination. Plus, the big smile when they place the final piece is priceless! 😊

👀👂👃👅✋ Today we had so much fun learning about 5 senses! Thank you FANSA!!

The children discovered how our eyes see, ears hear, noses smell, tongues taste, and hands feel. Learning through seeing, listening, smelling, tasting and touching made it such a fun and special day!

Today imagination was everywhere - a pretend braai day with friends, colourful drawings created freely, and busy little builders making roads while cars raced along their own little highways. 🚗🛣️

Through pretend play and free play, children create their own worlds, explore big ideas, and turn simple moments into magical adventures. Because the best learning happens when children are free to play! 💛
