DESKERCISE = DESK + EXERCISE

Now that we've touched a bit on correct ergonomics in the workplace, let's speak about how to keep you moving right at your desk... because... your best posture is your next posture!

Spending long hours sitting at a desk is a modern reality for many, but it doesn't have to mean a stiff neck, sore back, or poor posture. The good news is that you can counteract these negative effects of prolonged sitting by doing short and simple exercises right at your desk, which can make a significant difference.

Here are a few examples of easy-to-do desk-ercises that you could try out.

Quick tip tuesday:

Here are a few tips on how to correct your ergonomics at work:

• Ajust your chair so your feet are flat on the floor
• Knees and hips must be roughly 90°
• Screen at eye level so that you are not looking down
• Elbows supported on arm rest and shoulders relaxed
• Wrists neutral and supported
• Lower back arch supported

Making small changes like this can reduce strain on your neck, shoulders, and lower back, making a big difference in how your body feels at the end of the day/week.
