'' I've been a member of almost every gym in Pretoria over the last 40 years. After COVID I lost motivation for about 2 years. In 2023 I became a member of Body Kinetics. Best decision ever. The staff made me feel welcome from the start. I love the quietness and the fact that you hardly ever have to wait for a machine. The gym is just around the corner from my workplace as well, so I can train a little bit later in the morning.

To give you a bit of background on my history in the Fitness Industry: I've been actively involved since 1988; first as a competitive bodybuilder. In 1993 I won my weight category at the SA Championships but due to a number of reasons had to retire from competing. I decided to stay in the industry and in 1994 became a Provincial and later a National Bodybuilding and Fitness judge. I qualified as an international judge in 2005. From1999 I’ve been the Head Judge of the Gauteng North region as well as assistant National Head Judge. From January 2025 I was appointed Head Judge of Gauteng. Being a qualified Personal Trainer I trained several athletes who went on to become SA champions and some of them even professional athletes''.

Hip Injuries: What You Need to Know
