One of the biggest health practices I started my journey with is something I hardly do anymore. Growth means finding what truly works for you—and letting go of what doesn’t.
When I first started my health journey, one of the first habits I jumped into was making my own juices. There was something so intentional about it—choosing my ingredients, blending them fresh, feeling like I was doing something good for my body. I romanticized the routine: early mornings, a green juice in hand, and the sense that I was finally taking control of my health.
But as time went on, life shifted. My schedule got fuller, my priorities changed, and that once-regular practice slowly faded into the background. Not because I stopped caring, but because I realized something really important: health isn’t about following a perfect routine—it’s about building a relationship with your body that’s flexible, realistic, and sustainable.
Would I love to go back to making my own juices? Absolutely. There’s still a deep part of me that finds joy in it. But right now, in this season, it’s just not where my energy is best spent. And I’ve made peace with that.
Wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s not about rigid routines or guilt when we fall off track. It’s about finding what works for you—honoring your needs, your time, your resources, and being okay with the fact that what worked for you before might not be what supports you best today.
So if you’re not waking up to celery juice or hitting every wellness trend, please know: you’re still on the journey. And the path is still valid, even if it looks different than before.
Here’s to evolving, to listening to our bodies, and to knowing that we can always pick a habit back up when the time is right. 🌱
