Tegan B Yoga Be Yoga School runs internationally recognized 200 hour vinyasa teacher trainings online and in pers Join me as we get to know ourselves

Thanks to my mother I've been fortunate enough to have had yoga in my life from a very young age, however only in 2011 did everything fall into place. I completed Living Yoga's Teacher Training that year and began teaching in 2012. Since then I have completed another teacher training with Jim Harrington, as well as his 500 hour (advanced) training. In 2013 I was even more fortunate to go to India where I met many wonderful teachers and wandered through some amazing ashrams. In April-May 2015 I completed the 300 hour Jivamukti Teacher Training in New York with David Life and Sharon Gannon. I am currently studying a BSc in Nutritional Science which I plan to further help my clients as well as myself. Yoga keeps me in check with myself, when I dont practise, I'm not myself. The more I practise, the more I get to know who I really am.

We’ve had our for over a year now and I can honestly say it’s our most used device in the house.

In those early newborn days it gave us so much peace of mind — when you’re constantly checking if your baby is breathing and worrying about every little thing. Being able to glance at the Nanit instead of running into the room made such a difference.

Now that James is older, we use it in a completely different way. I love being able to track his sleep and quickly check in if he wakes during the night or during a nap.

Even though he’s sleep trained, he’ll sometimes wake briefly during a nap, roll around, find his little lovey and settle himself back to sleep. Being able to quietly watch and see that he’s okay (without rushing in and disturbing him) has been such a game changer.

One of the things I love most is that it works wherever there’s Wi-Fi. We’ve taken it with us on holiday and it travels so easily. And because it’s app-based, I actually prefer it to a traditional monitor — you don’t have to worry about range or whether the signal will reach. As long as you have Wi-Fi, you can always check in and see that your baby is okay.

A year later and it’s still something we use every single day 🤍

This isn’t a paid post, I just truly love this device and would feel lost without it! So if you’re an expecting mom and want serious peace of mind and longevity from a device, I would recommend the 🙌🏼

I’m a self proclaimed podcast queen! Give me a good podcast and I’ll binge it in a day😂

My main advice to expecting moms is to get AirPods and have podcasts ready to go so then when you are struggling to get baby down or are nap trapped you’ve at least got something cool to listen to.

I used to listen to a lot of self help & improvement podcasts and those are great. BUT, I love a juicy story I can get stuck into while going for a walk or doing meal prep for my toddler.

PLEASE share your favourite podcasts with me! I am always looking for a new series I can binge🤪
