Congratulations, Melissa! 🏃‍♀️⛰️

We are so proud of our Golden Harvest No.1 resident, Melissa Arnold, who took on the Titanic Challenge in Clarens this weekend! Despite strong winds, Melissa completed the 36km mountain race in an impressive 6 hours 46 minutes — averaging 11.17 minutes per km with a total climb of 1,332 meters. 🌬️💪

Melissa’s determination and strength are truly inspiring — and it’s no wonder she always has the energy to “go the extra mile” with us here at Golden Harvest No.1. 💛

WATER SAVING TIPS.
• Collect water in a jug or bucket when using the hot tap, as the water takes a
while to come through the pipes, hot.
• Don't let taps drip. Turn them off properly.
• Have broken/leaking pipes fixed immediately.
• Gardens and pots only need to be watered once a week during the dry season.
• Ensure that taps are turned off during water outages.

🎳 Bowls, Friendship & Fun on Friday! 🎳

The Golden Harvest No.1 team enjoyed a fantastic friendly match against Golden Harvest No.2 last Friday. 🌞 It was a delightful afternoon filled with good spirit, plenty of laughter, and wonderful camaraderie both on and off the green. 💛

Although VGH1 had to part with the Eric Cowling Trophy this time, we’re already looking forward to our next encounter in April — and hopefully bringing it back home! 😉🏆
