Charley plays a vital role in ensuring billing processes run smoothly and that patients receive the necessary medical aid approvals for their imaging studies. She particularly enjoys working with and assisting people, guiding them through what can often be complex authorisation procedures. One of the challenges she tackles daily is registering patients with PMB conditions and securing approval for scans that were initially declined — ensuring patients ultimately receive the care they need.

As we step into the New Year and embrace new possibilities in patient care, we are pleased to introduce Dr Queen Sibiya, Specialist Radiologist, MBChB (UL), FCRad (SA), MMed RAD (UL), who has joined M&D Radiology Hoedspruit as a full-time Radiologist.

Dr Sibiya brings extensive experience in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures. Her expertise includes:
• Image-guided core biopsies – breast, renal, and lymph nodes.
• Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) – thyroid and lymph nodes.

She works closely with referring clinicians to provide accurate, timely reports and reliable procedural support, ensuring patients receive high-quality, patient-centred care.

Dr Sibiya is available for all imaging studies and biopsies at our Hoedspruit practice.
