South African Mental Health Advocacy Movement - Samham SAMHAM is a body representing people with mental disabilities and empowering them to advocate for themselves

Membership is free of charge
Persons with mental disabilities can become SAMHAM members. Through SAMHAM, its members have a voice to address matters that affect their lives and the lives of other mental health care users. Members and their family / Friends have access to information and resources related to mental illness and mental health.

..a choice..attention seeking..an insult or an adjective..something you can 'snap out of'..a crime..a weakness..a flaw in character..laziness..fake or 'all in their head'..an excuse..funny or a joke..trendy or cool..'just a phase'..discriminative (it can affect anyone)..the same for everyone..less important than other illnesses
