Tarot Tuesday - did you know most Tarot decks are based to a greater or lesser degree on this deck. It was the first deck to have illustrated every one of the 78 cards including the minor arcana. Future decks followed this trend - it was published in 1909 and created by Arthur Edward Waite, illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith. Today we have a plethora of choice when it comes to Tarot decks - the best way to choose one? My advice is to familiarise yourself with the symbolism of the Rider-Waite deck and then find one resonates with you and most importantly that you can "read".. We support the called by Women for Change to have gender based violence (GBV) declared a national disaster. We are going to be a bit cheeky and point out that our profile is already purple :-)

Some thoughts on being a Reiki Master Teacher.

This week Tuesday I had the privilege of providing a Reiki I Student with their first Reiki Initiation Ceremony or attunement as it is otherwise known. Personally, I prefer the term Initiation to Attunement, as it more correctly depicts what is actually taking place.
