"Nkanyiso Nutrition and Hiv/aids" HIV/AIDS,NUTRITION,FOOD SECURITY ORIENTED ORGANISATION

Nkanyiso is a Zulu word, which means “Light”, our mission is to give light and hope to orphans, vulnerable children and the disadvantaged communities. The organization started in 2005 and operates in disadvantaged communities in Gauteng, Limpopo and Eastern Cape, where we address issues related to alleviating poverty. Our efforts are focused on HIV/AIDS, food security, permaculture food gardening, nutrition, and life skills education projects. Through programs such as our Kids’ Club targeting orphans and vulnerable children, Holiday Youth Leadership Camp where we teach life skills, and our garden projects at schools, Nkanyiso empowers children and women with the necessary skills and knowledge to develop healthy eating and living behaviors.
