I work for a Distance Education Provider as the Head of Assessments, and serve on the Concession Committee for learners with different abilities.
I live in Olivedale, Randburg and enjoy reading, leather work and gardening in my spare time, which, to be honest, I don't have much of.

My mom owns the BRAIN GAIN branch in Sandton.
Through the years, I have experienced first hand what amazing changes BRAIN GAIN brought to so many people.
I have seen children's faces light up as the enter the office, and adults giving a sigh of relief because they can focus better.
Naturally I could not wait to join as soon as I completed by English degree - my hope is to change as many lives as possible ( one person at a time).

WHO'S WHO AT BRAIN GAIN?

I have a background in Psychology and Education.
I completed my degree at Wits and my professional teaching certificate through UNISA.
I started my career as a young professional musician, rugby player for Wits, and high school teacher, where I developed a love for working with, and coaching youth in sporting codes such as rugby, cricket and soccer.
Through my experience as a musician and sportsman, I developed an appreciation for the link between the heart, mind, body and soul, and the connection to high performance states.
My enthusiasm for human development was further expressed through completing a Masters Degree in Music Therapy at the University of the West of England, where I began working with children with learning disabilities and adults with mental illnesses.
I am now the owner of BRAIN GAIN Cape Town, and certified as a neurofeedback trainer, where I am able to use my expertise to work with children and adults with concentration difficulties within various contexts such as schools, the workplace, the arts and sports. I also work with older adults.
After completing certification in Training and Development Management, and recently in Executive and Management Coaching at UCT, I am now using my acquired skills to work with management practitioners, using my knowledge of best mental health practice, holistic wellness, and the creative processes of transformation within music and art, including cognitive training, as a way to coach my clients to achieve their full potential as managers and leaders within their lives and organisations.
My own personal coaching philosophy is grounded in harnessing each individuals creative skills and innate neurological capacity to facilitate a process where they are able to channel their creativity into innovation, leading them to find new ways of learning and development,
I am currently employed as Deputy Head of Learner Affairs at Curro Meridian Pinehurst.
I love BRAIN GAIN because of the passion and love that the business has for helping people.
The approach is scientific and practiclal - making it adaptable to many contexts.
