This morning’s Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra Practice

Today our community gathered for a slow, grounding Yin Yoga class followed by 15 minutes of Yoga Nidra in support of South Africa’s national Laydown Against Gender-Based Violence, honouring survivors, holding space for collective healing & standing firmly for change.

Rest is resistance. Presence is power.

This intimate gathering, limited to just 6 attendees, weaves together TRE® (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises), Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra—three powerful practices that beautifully complement one another.

* TRE® supports your body in safely releasing deep-held stress & tension through natural, gentle tremors.
* Yin Yoga follows, inviting you to slow down, stretch deeply & soften into stillness, creating spaciousness in both body & mind.
* Yoga Nidra closes the morning with a guided journey into profound relaxation, nourishing your nervous system & integrating the release from the earlier practices.

Together, these modalities create a flow from release to rest — helping you let go, unwind & restore.

Each person will be encouraged to move at their own pace, honouring what feels safe & supportive for their unique body & experience.
