This week, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my journey in optometry and share how much I cherish my community right here in Greenhills, Randfontein.

It's been many years now working in this practice, and the warm, caring nature of the local people has made all the difference. You're the kind of community that truly supports its own—you check in, ask about your neighbor, and genuinely care about what's going on. Thank you for making my work so rewarding.

In Loving Memory of Oom Piet
I also want to take a moment to send my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Oom Piet.

I know Oom Piet was a local hero whose dedication to fixing the potholes made a real, tangible difference to everyone in Greenhills. His community spirit and positive action will be truly missed.
