Crystal of the month: October

Fluorite
I chose this crystal for October as I recently performed a very powerful distance healing using fluorite and it reminded me what an amazing stone this is. Fluorite is a great all-round healing crystal and works on all of the subtle bodies – etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual. It brings balance and structure where there is disharmony and chaos. It gets rid of negativity and imbalances in the system. It helps to integrate spiritual energies into your energy field, allowing you to develop your intuitive abilities. It is an excellent learning aid and can be used to enable clarity of thought, the processing of information and to increase concentration.

On a physical level fluorite is effective at dealing with infections and disorders. It is great for treating colds, flu and sinusitis and can be used to alleviate arthritis, rheumatism and spinal injuries. It also assists with balance and coordination.

Practical uses for fluorite: Use in meditations or when thoughts are confused. Larger palm stones are great for holding. Place nearby when you are working and need to focus and concentrate but be careful to avoid placing too near a PC, iPad, phone or any other electronic device, as the crystal energies can amplify the electromagnetic energies from these devices.
