The 3 Phases of Body Stress Release (BSR)
Body Stress Release is a gentle yet powerful process that helps unlock layers of stored tension. The journey follows three phases:
1. Intensive Phase – Essential starting point
Day 1, Day 4, (sometimes Day 7), and Day 11.
This phase addresses the immediate reasons you may seek BSR, such as pain, discomfort, postural strain, headaches, or emotional stress.
2. Subsequent Phase – Supporting deeper release
Sessions once a week or every second week (depending on your body’s needs).
Here, we continue releasing deeper layers of tension, helping your body return to a more balanced state of well-being.
3. Maintenance Phase – Your commitment to long-term health
Once every 3 weeks, monthly, or every 6 weeks.
This phase helps you sustain the benefits, supporting resilience and ongoing wellness.
BSR is not just about relief - it’s about supporting your body’s natural ability to heal and thrive.

ADHD awareness month -
People with ADHD often experience physical tension, anxiety, and stress, which can exacerbate their symptoms. BSR can help release deep-seated tension in the muscles, promoting relaxation and reducing stress levels. This, in turn, may lead to improvements in focus, concentration, and overall well-being.

Some potential benefits of BSR for individuals with ADHD include:

1. Reduced stress and anxiety: By releasing physical tension, BSR can help calm the nervous system, which may lead to a decrease in anxiety and stress levels.

2. Improved sleep: Many individuals with ADHD experience sleep difficulties. BSR can help promote relaxation, which may improve sleep quality.

3. Enhanced focus and concentration: By reducing physical tension and promoting relaxation, BSR may help individuals with ADHD stay focused and concentrated for longer periods.

4. Increased self-awareness: BSR can help individuals develop greater body awareness, which may enable them to better recognize and manage their physical and emotional responses to stress.

It's essential to note that BSR should not be used as a replacement for medical treatment or therapy. Instead, it can be a complementary approach to support overall well-being and help manage ADHD symptoms.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF OUR LOGO:
The BSR logo depicts a white leafy tree on a dark green background. Below it, the dark green root system is a symmetrical pattern of loops on a white background. The arcing lines represent the unseen pathways of communication in the body - the coherent flow of life energy. The roots may also symbolise body stress, hidden ‘underground’, and demonstrate that although stress is an undermining force, it is stored in an organised form (there is order and intelligence, even in apparent chaos). When the stress is released, the life energy is restored, represented by the flourishing tree.

Aches and pains aren’t just “a part of life.”
They’re your body's way of asking for help.
Body Stress Release (BSR) gently locates and releases areas of stored muscle tension and stress that can often lead to back pain, headaches, stiff necks and sore joints.
Whether you’ve been struggling for weeks—or years—BSR can help you move with ease, sleep better and enjoy life without nagging discomfort.
Your body knows how to heal. BSR just helps it get there.

At 65 *Norm was irritable, skeptical, and generally negative about life. Not surprisingly, as he had to contend with intense lower-back pain, was forced to use a walking stick, and felt worn out. He was reluctant to try BSR as he believed nothing could undo the ravages of age, but his daughter eventually convinced him to see a practitioner. Over the first three sessions, the pain withdrew in stages and Norm gave up his walking stick. He was greatly cheered by the realisation that, by using his back correctly, he could prevent the lower-back problem from recurring. He eagerly followed all the advice he was given and went shopping to find a lounge suite that would honour his spine's biomechanical design. He also resolved to cut down on the commitments in his life and start enjoying himself. He was able to return to his favourite activity, cycling. Norm described his transformation by saying that he felt he was coming back to the core of being who he was.
