Nope! UnityMed is a professional GP medical practice — just like any other doctor’s rooms.

❓ Do you have a qualified doctor?
Absolutely. We have a full-time medical doctor registered with the HPCSA, and our practice has an official practice number.

❓ Is UnityMed a medical aid?
No. UnityMed is not a medical aid. It is a GP medical practice that offers an affordable subscription option to help make doctor consultations more accessible.

❓ Does UnityMed include dentists or optometrists?
No. UnityMed consultations are with a General Practitioner (GP). Dental and optometry services are not included.

❓ Who can visit UnityMed?
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be on a medical aid to see our doctor.

❓ What makes UnityMed different?
We offer an affordable subscription option to help families manage the cost of doctor consultations — quality healthcare without the financial stress.

❓ Do I have to come in every time?
Not at all. We offer in-person consultations in Robertson, as well as telephonic and virtual consultations — making healthcare more accessible, especially when transport is a challenge.

👩‍⚕️💚 Community Care in Action 💚👩‍⚕️

Over the past few weeks, Dr. Malinda Vergie and Quizelle de Villiers stepped out of the practice and into our local schools to spend time with some very special little learners 🏫✨

Through fun and interactive sessions, they spoke to the children about the importance of staying healthy, why visiting the doctor doesn’t have to be scary, and how small daily habits can make a big difference in their wellbeing. There were lots of giggles, thoughtful questions, and curious little minds eager to learn!

At UnityMed, we believe healthcare starts with education — and the earlier we empower children with knowledge, the stronger and healthier our community becomes 🌱
