Wings of Inspiration is a Christian based Non-Profit Company in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, South Africa. It was inspired by a family who had lived hard times, identified the need to help others and aspire to become part of the solution. We would not be able to move forward without your kindness and generosity of the caring general public and business owner's such as yourself. We hope and trust you will find us a worthy cause to assist. We rely on donations of any form and sort to continue to be a blessing to others as others have been a blessing to us in the past. Remember that your gift helps others in need. Our Story

Wings of Inspiration Play Group

The Wings of Inspiration play group helps and assists under-privileged children at our location in Mpumalanga. The aim of the play group is to assist these kids by facilitating educational programs and hence in doing so, building and prepping them for when they go off to school. We therefore assist by getting donations in the form of school supplies, clothing, books and food to mention a few. The play group is operated by Mina and her daughters. Mina has given up her retirement package to build the school building. Consequently, Mina has run out of funds and therefore the growth of the playgroup/school has come to a standstill. As a result, we have joined hands with her to ensure the dream and vision of the play group does not fade away. Therefore, we will continue to empower these youths in becoming the individuals God intends them to be. This play group will only be able to continue running with the help and generosity of the community.

Wings of Inspiration / Dorah’s Ark Orphanage

Dorah is an angel in her own right. She has dedicated her life to help orphaned children in the Roodepoort and surrounding area. Dorah’s Ark is located in the old Roodepoort library. At any given time, she takes care of around 40 children ranging from new born to teens. Again, this organisation is operated on firstly prayer and then the generosity of the community. Furthermore, the dream is to give each child the care and love they deserve. Dorah believes that education is key in the growth and development of each of these kids, and therefore makes sure that each child placed in her care goes to school. This means that she needs, stationary, school clothes and food. Just a few of the essentials she needs to achieve this important goal. On her own and having all these kids to take care off, she has little to no time for fund raising and the procurement of food, clothes etc. This is where we at Wings of Inspiration have taken hands with her by dedicating loads of time and effort in ensuring Dorah’s Ark can continue to love and care for these kids but importantly help them to get the education and future each of them deserve.
