She is a Namaqualand sonbesie at heart. Once a librarian and chef, now our very own skin-chef.

Sylvie is deeply committed to creating honest, nourishing skincare that serves us while also treasuring the environment and community.

Since 2014, Sylvie has personally researched, formulated, and handmade every product that leaves Pure Primal Skin. No shortcuts. Just researched ingredients, careful formulation, and a whole lot of information and intention.

Because what you put on your skin should be made with as much care as what you put in your body.
