Equipped - workshop to equip young children emotionally and assist them with social skills and social awareness.
The aim of this program is to offer children age appropriate social and emotional skills and to develop self concept and the ability to regulate their emotions. Children need guidance with regards to emotional recognition, emotional expression and especially in learning constructive conflict skills. The benefits of this program consist of Unique experiential “practice opportunity”.
It enhances confidence and assertiveness to ‘meet’ new group members. The workshop provides a
safe space for children to practice newly developed skills and insight. This will enhance their problem solving skills and will aid in developing their self-concept and concept of others.
