Dr. Treven Moodley was born and raised in Durban, where he developed a passion for surgery from a young age.

His MMED thesis focused on breast cancer, reflecting his strong interest in breast diseases. Additionally, he specialises in endobariatric and varicose vein surgery. Dr. Moodley practices at the Constantia Day Clinic in Roodepoort, which serves as both an endobariatric and vein center. He holds an MBA from the management College of Southern Africa and works in medical underwriting for an independent insurance brokerage. He is a member of the medico-legal advisory panel of GENOA Underwriting Managers. In his free time, Dr. Moodley enjoys soccer, cricket, and chess, and he actively participates in various
long-distance cycling races.

This is a follow up post of our patient who was left debilitated for the past 7 years by end stage venous disease. It’s been 1 week since her treatment at our facility and the results are amazing!

Her pain has resolved and she can now walk normally again.
Her wounds are healing and are completely dry!
Leg swelling is reducing and colour change reversing. Her wounds will continue to improve over the coming weeks.

As such, she has now regained hope in leading a normal, active life again and is excited at the prospect of returning to work.

The Vein Wellness Team is ecstatic about the results achieved and wishes the patient a speedy recovery. We will continue to follow her progress over time

This is a 55 year old female who presented to our practice with end stage venous disease. She has been struggling with this condition for the past 7 years and suffers with severe pain that leaves her debilitated. Both her legs have large weeping wounds which leaves her clothing and shoes always wet. Her skin is discoloured and thickened and has now developed Lipodermatosclerosis. She has attended other medical centres for assistance over the years but she claims all treatments offered were futile. She will undergoing venous treatment in our facility today. To date this is one of the most severe cases that we have seen. We will keep you posted on her results.

A GREAT START TO 2026!

This a 35 year old female patient who has notable spider veins on her left leg and varicose veins on her right leg. Her venous disease has been present for approximately 10 years and her main risk factor being multiple pregnancies.
Her symptoms included chronic pain and fatigue and these symptoms interfere with her daily living.

She underwent successful venous treatment and can be seen presenting 1 week after receiving treatment. Although she is still early into her recovery phase, her results are already outstanding! Her spider veins and varicose veins are already showing signs of resolution and will continue to resolve over the coming weeks.
Her symptoms of pain has also completely resolved and she is now fully functional again.
The Vein Wellness Team is pleased with the outcome and wishes the patient everything of the best for the New Year!

This is a 35 year old male patient that presented with prominent varicose veins on the inner aspect of his right leg. His main risk factor was standing for long periods of time and his symptoms included chronic pain, heavy legs and at times a burning sensation in his feet.

He underwent venous treatment (walk in, walk out) at our facility based in Kempton Park.
In the second picture you can clearly see the resolution of the varicosities.
The patient was highly impressed with the treatment provided and outcome obtained. His symptoms of pain has resolved and he is able to enjoy his working life again!

ANOTHER SUCCESS STORY!

Our index patient is 80 years old and underwent successful venous surgery. Her symptoms of chronic leg pain and fatigue have resolved and she is now much more active in her daily activities. The patient and her family members are extremely happy with the outcome and thanked the Vein Wellness Team for their assistance and support.

This is a 35 year old female that presented with advanced venous disease. On her left leg, you can see a large patch of spider veins. On her right leg there are multiple varicose veins visible. She now presents to our clinic within a week of undergoing venous treatment so her legs are in a period of healing. The spider veins have gone and the varicose veins are settling. Her symptoms of chronic pain and difficulty walking are already resolving.
The patient is extremely pleased with the result!

Today’s patient traveled all the way from Durban to attend our clinic for venous treatment. Her treatment was successful as her symptoms of chronic pain, heavy and tired legs are resolving. She was extremely vocal about the high standard of care provided by team members and is delighted with the outcome. FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT!
This is a follow up post of our patient that presented with venous eczema. He is now recovering from his venous treatment but the results are already starting to show! His eczema and swelling is improving and his legs have returned to their normal colour. But most important to this patient is his new found freedom to walk around pain free. Daily activities such as walking and getting up from a chair are now relatively easy and he is thankful that he underwent treatment.
