Daksha Hargovan Psychology Practice

Daksha Hargovan Psychology Practice Psychotherapy is a means to an end. Psychotherapy offers an enlightened and increased self esteem. Psychotherapy has been proven to be effective.

In my practice at present I work with adults, young adults/teenagers and children. As a therapist I have a diverse background of clinical experience. I began my career being employed in an addiction and psychiatric Centre, I also had the opportunity to work with the broad spectrum of psychological symptoms that individuals present with in daily life. The latter refers to individuals who are experiencing difficulties with self esteem, relationship difficulties, work stress, depression and anxiety. I have been in private practice for 18 years and I find that I continue to grow and keep myself well informed of recent theoretical and clinical advances. I am an active member of a group of psychologists that have meetings on a regular basis. Over and above my private practice work I am involved in the supervision of Masters students at UCT.
