Why an Alkaline Diet is Considered a healthier daily diet option:
The alkaline diet is an eating pattern that minimizes foods that form acids, such as animal proteins and cheeses. It emphasizes alkaline-producing foods like fresh fruits and vegetables. Proponents of the alkaline diet say eating foods with alkaline properties can lower the risk of cancer, osteoporosis, kidney disease, and hypertension (high blood pressure).
What To Eat on the Alkaline Diet
The alkaline diet emphasizes fruits and vegetables above all. The goal is to emphasize foods with negative PRALs and eliminate those with positive PRALs to prevent acid build-up in the body.
Emphasis on Whole Foods:
The diet emphasizes nutrient-rich, minimally processed foods, which can be good for overall health, even if it doesn't directly change the body's pH.
Let’s break it down: What an Alkaline diet can possible do
Improved Digestion:
Increased fiber from fruits, vegetables, and whole grains may help improve digestion and gut health.
Potential for Better Heart Health:
A diet rich in potassium-rich foods and lower in sodium (as often found in processed foods) may help manage blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health.
Reduced Inflammation:
The focus on fresh, whole foods and limiting processed foods and added sugars can help reduce overall inflammation in the body.
Stronger Bones:
The intake of alkaline-rich foods, particularly fruits and vegetables, may contribute to bone health.
Weight Management:
The emphasis on whole, less processed foods can naturally lead to lower calorie intake, which may contribute to weight loss.

The vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in alkaline foods may help strengthen the immune system.
Now I am not saying cut out entire food groups because, that will cause a whole other headache of getting enough protein and could lead to deficiencies over time in important nutrients like B12, Zinc and Calcium. What I am saying is be cautious about what you consume and know your body.
Cutting out starches and sugars alone will already drastically improve your overall health and any possible medical conditions or underlying ones you might have.
