Meet Dr Mari Kritzinger, an experienced general practitioner at Intercare Castle Gate. After earning her MBChB at the University of Pretoria in 2021, she obtained a Diploma in HIV Management. She has gained valuable experience across various medical fields, with a recent focus on Internal Medicine.

She is passionate about patient education and believes in continuous care and support, especially for patients with chronic illnesses.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors and experimenting in the kitchen.

Join us in welcoming Dr Alecia van Tonder to the Intercare Century City team!

Dr van Tonder completed her MBChB at the University of Pretoria in 2018, followed by her internship at Tygerberg Hospital and community service at Amajuba Memorial Hospital in Volksrust.

She has a particular interest in women’s health, children’s health, and mental health, and is committed to delivering patient-centred care with compassion and professionalism.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys walking her dog and gardening.

Our dedicated healthcare professionals proudly wore bright and creative socks for Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day, a global initiative to raise awareness about mental health among healthcare workers. This day is about more than just colourful socks; it's about sparking conversations and reminding everyone that it's okay not to be okay. Taking time off to refill your cup is important because you can't pour from an empty cup.
