Dr Muwanguzi became a Vice President for the Uganda Canadian Association of Saskatchewan (UCAS) in 2018 and proceeded to become the President of UCAS in 2019. In December 2019, he returned to South Africa to pursue a diploma in Emergency medicine which requires him to be working in emergency medicine department for at least six months. In 2020, he began working as an Emergency and Trauma Medical Officer at Medforum, Heart Mediclinic, Morningside Mediclinic, Life Carstenhop Hospital, Life Springs Parkland Hospital and Louis Pasteur Hospital. He is also an Emergency and Trauma Medical Officer at Life Flora hospital, Thelle Mogoerane Hospital, Busamed Modderfontein hospital, Netcare Sunninghill hospital, Netcare Olivedale hospital, Netcare Garden City Hospital and Netcare Waterfall city hospital.
He did more advanced life support courses in ACLS, PALS, AMLS, and ANLS.
