Today is World Polio Day

We annually observe World Polio Day to raise and emphasise the importance of getting the polio vaccine for you and your children against poliomyelitis caused by the Poliovirus.

Poliovirus symptoms vary from mild flu-like symptoms to paralysis and possibly death if they are not attended to in time.

Symptoms of poliomyelitis:
🚩 Tiredness
🚩 Fever
🚩 Muscle stiffness
🚩 Headache
🚩 Nausea and vomiting
