Gogo Soozi is a Traditional Healing Practitioner and teacher. Sweatlodges. Workshops and training in the African Shamanic Path - or the Earthmedicine Path.

Services: spiritual consultations, Herbal treatments, cleansings, protections & Plant medicine workshops. Reading of the African Bone oracles. Classes in holistic food gardens & herbs. I first heard the term "Earth Medicine" in a video of Baba Credo Mutwa in 1996 - High Sanusi or African Shaman - when he said "The most powerful medicine is in the earth, if you know how to get to it", and my search started then to find this "Earth Medicine". In all the traditions Im an apprentice in - I came across a similar concept - In the Native North American Tradition they also speak of Earth-medicine, and in the Andean tradition of Pachamama or Allpamama. The element of earth is present with us everywhere. The Earth has become my Mesa - my sacred altar - and her power and energy supports all ceremony and healing. I have followed a long Spiritual walk, apprentice-ships and initiations into many indigenous and mystic traditions, including African Shamanism (Sangoma), The Sacred Andean Tradition (Alto Mesayoq), The Red Road (Native North & South American paths) and plant teachers. Ceremony for me is a way of life and unity with Spirit. My Name in the Andean (Peru) Tradition is "Allpa Kallpa Quoy" - directly translated as Earth Power Woman. In Spanish it is "La fuerza del Tierra"

Dear Community.
It is with great joy that we invite you to the Sun Moon Peace Dance, which will be returning to South Africa this year. We look forward to once again dance for Peace in Africa.

The Dance will take place from 1 – 4 October 2026, in a very sacred valley in the Eastern Freestate, Maluti Mountains, Franschoek Farm. This land is ancient and hosts a beautiful African medicine space to weave the red path medicine of this dance with Africa.

All previous dancers and crew as well as anyone interested in this 4-day medicine dance are invited to reach out to Soozi if you are interested in Dancing, crewing, joining the Drum and Song training (online), as well as receiving more information on the dance.

The Chief space will be held by Gogo Soozi (assisted by elders) whom has co-ordinated and served this and many other dances over the years, and given permission to hold this dance, by Lineage holder, Geraldine Rael, Eldest daughter of Joseph Rael Beautiful Painted Arrow, at her dance in Colorado USA in 2024.

Grandfather Joseph Rael, visionary of this dance says:
"These dances are not just ordinary social dances. These dances are like mantras, vibrations that when they are articulated in dance, they then give back to the dancer or give back to that moment or give back to that time on the planet a return gift of having danced."

The Ndau spirit journey is not an easy one. Ask anyone who finally got their things right with this spirit, you’ll find there are very few. That’s because Umndau is extremely specific about when, how, and who must answer the call. You don’t choose this path. It chooses you. And when it does, it takes you through the fire.

To carry Umndau is to know pain, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Many people have ended their lives, confused and tormented, not understanding what was happening to them. This spirit is not a whisper, it’s a thunderclap. It is the most powerful spirit. And you’ll know it, not because someone tells you, but because you’ll see it for yourself. Umndau doesn’t arrive with softness. He arrives with storms. He interrupts your plans, disturbs your peace and opens a wound only he can heal.

Umndau doesn’t need passports. You’ll travel the world for free. Just sleep. I’ve been to many countries through my Ndau grandfather without leaving my bed.

Why must we endure so much pain through Umndau? No one knows for sure. But I feel it’s because we are meant to become people of action. Umndau doesn’t allow shortcuts. Time must be taken. Rituals must be done correctly. Patience is part of the process.

Ndau spirits govern the sacral chakra, that’s the energy center you’ll feel most affected by. You might experience fibroids, pelvic pain, bloating, constipation, or the sensation of snake-like movements in your belly. These are not random symptoms. They are signals.

BoGogo baMandau are responsible for great fortunes, but they can also bring great misfortunes, not out of cruelty, but to show their power. There is little success without Umndau. And ignoring Umndau is an invitation to suffering.

This is not a message to scare you. It’s a call to attention. If you’ve been chosen, you must listen, or you will be made to feel. You do not choose Umndau. He chooses you, and when he does, you become both the fire
and the river.

Dearest medicine people around the world.
🕊We are at the cusp of the Great Turning. The time when all is unraveling so the new can be born.
We are in the labour pains. The feminine is in pain of giving birth, this is what we are doing now.
The time of stepping up to mother the new world will come soon.
So, if you are anxious and feeling things are unraveling, don't fret and panic, just focus on the task at hand,
Great Spirit is taking care of the big picture. The unravelling is the death throws of the last shadows and letting go and healing we are allowing in us right now... preparing us for the new/ancient world we are about to step back into.
Dont shadow box yourself, just see and acknowledge in truth and honesty what you are no longer, and what you are becoming.
Focus on your health and truth of your being, cut off the fake voice in your head.
The new world is being birthed and we are asked to raise the child not in our old patterns but in the courage of who we know we are and what the world has to be.
F**k the systems, change the narrative, be brave to do exactly what your heart wants and do not succumb to your conditioned upbringing.
Healers are change angents, disruptors and innovators, revive indigenous ways, let the child heart and its dreams and wishes lead.... it's not about money, safety, autonomy etc, you are the one who dreams and live the life you want.
Disconnect the social construct, its hell of a challenge and discomfort but on the other side is peace harmony community love freedom to be a human being inside of the web of creation, easily and gently dropping into your place and connection to the web of life.
Drop the ego construct of being something, you are... Do ceremony often, pray, give thanks, pull up your big pants..
