We are emotionall and physical beings.
From a physio perspective injuries and illness often take their toll. There is always a mental health component to recovery.
Often when we struggle with mental health, depression, anxiety, overwhelm and burnout physical problems also manifest.
It Is often not one or the other but components of both.
As World Mental Health Day 2025 approaches, let’s pause and reflect. 💚
Mental health isn’t just a conversation for one day — it’s a daily reality for millions. It’s the quiet battles, the invisible weight, the strength it takes to simply keep going. This year’s theme is “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right” a powerful reminder that care, compassion, and support should never be a privilege.
Whether you’re thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between, your story matters. Your feelings are valid.
Let’s normalize:
• Checking in on friends without needing a reason
• Saying “I’m not okay” without shame
Let’s make this October 10th not just a day of awareness, but a spark for change. 💚
